The Powell County Chamber of Commerce and visitor information center in Deer Lodge is located in the Old Montana Prison Museum Complex, adjoining Frontier Montana at the south end of Main Street. With the Clark Fork River and Mount Powell to the east, and the Deer Lodge valley surrounding us, we are fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful location. Local and State guides, brochures and maps are available, as well as information on local accommodation and places to eat and shop. Our office is opposite 'Little Joe', a Milwaukee Railroad engine. The Grant-Kohrs Ranch, a National Park Historic Site, is within 1 mile at the north end of town.
