Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I spent six years with the Army; my first three-year duty was as a dental technician. During this time I learned discipline, integrity and responsibility while being influenced and encouraged by the dentists under whom I served, to become a dentist. After completing my three years of enlistment, I returned to school, graduating from the University of Washington Dental school and returned to the Army, serving another three years as a dentist.
