Mack Daddy's Hawg Sauce

Mack Daddy’s Inc. (Mack Daddy's Hawg Sauce) was recently started by my wife, my son, my daughter, and me. The purpose is to showcase products that have a special meaning to my family. The barbecue sauce for example comes from a recipe that has been in our family for about forty years. The name was changed and it is now called “Mack Daddy’s Hawg Sauce". I started out making this in my kitchen with a whole lot of help from my wife. It would take us three or four hours just to put the ingredients in the pot. I originally used this sauce as a promotional item for my sales business. Instead of handing out cups, mugs, pens, and calendars like many salespeople do, I handed out barbecue sauce and it worked for me. This sauce has been all over the world and I have gotten feedback from thousands of people for over twenty years. I can tell you first hand that most people love this sauce for grilling or dipping.

About twenty five years ago I invented a cast iron double thick extra heavy duty blackening skillet/griddle called the “Bayou Blackener.” The trademark for that name lapsed and I was unable to reinstate it so we changed the name to the “Mack Daddy’s Blackener.” I sold thousands of these years ago long before the internet and people loved this product. It has now been improved because it comes pre-seasoned and ready to use right out of the box. And I’m proud to say that it is made for my company by Lodge manufacturing, the oldest and largest cast iron cookware
