Enlisting at a young age helped myself and my friends mature and let us travel, along, with learn a good trade, for myself I was in a P3 squadron, and after went on to get more training and got my A & P certificate (a federal license) then I got a good job with a major airline where I met many others like myself and I still keep in touch with guys from my squadron, I've been out for 30 years, so you meet a lot of good people.
