Healing Pools for Warriors:
The Vision of the Aquatic Therapy Foundation is to improve upon the life quality of wounded warriors, trauma patients, veterans of all conflicts, elderly, physically challenged, life-long afflicted, with pools, tools, and guidance in aquatic healing. The idea is to accelerate patient recovery using devices allowing traction, exercise, and rehabilitation conveniently and privately through daily immersion at home with family. The Mission is to install, at no cost to the veteran, durable medical aquatic equipment in or at the veteran's home. Many warriors and trauma patients live in small town America where there is no VA hospital or indoor aquatic facility. The Merits of one device, The Vertical Pool, include the ability to achieve an erect posture for movements in the upright position, enabling proper spinal alignment and organ function, as well as horizontal swimming and seated exercise.
