The service provides you with many things; determination, follow-through, courage, leadership qualities to name a few. All of these qualities are needed to be a successful business owner. The 10 years I was in the service, I was able to work with people from all different backgrounds and leadership styles. I learned what worked and what didn't. The Marine Corps gave me the courage to try new things, hard things! What could possibly be harder than owning and operating your own business?
