Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
The military helped me to be more disciplined. It gave me critical thinking skills and allowed me a better understanding of human nature. It showed me that although things get rough if we work as a team most times we come out okay. It showed me that failure is not an option you take lightly and to persevere even though the outlook may be dim. I never gave up in Vietnam and I go about life the same way. You may get kicked down and feel beaten but being able to rise from the ashes sets you apart.
