Lindsay Machine Works was founded by Mike and Susanna Lindsay in 1994, just east of Kansas City Missouri. Mike entered the machining trade in 1980 when he attended a U.S. Navy machinist school in San Diego, CA. After machinist school, Mike worked and lived for 3 1/2 years on a destroyer tender, the USS Prairie, working in the machine shop onboard. Lindsay Machine Works now employees 20 people, using over 50 machines of all types.
