Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
My tour in the United States Marine Corps gave me the discipline and focus to complete my bachelors degree and MBA, both of which I earned while working full time. I turned that experience into a career as a senior executive in the lubricants industry. After my time in the lubricants industry I bought my own company in the plastics container industry. Without the discipline instilled in me through my time in the Marines I would not have had the courage to venture off into my own business.
