What They Signed Up For is a nonprofit entity in Washington State that, through books, speaking events, and the web, tells the stories of veterans, by the men and women themselves, about their experiences in combat zones, and the struggles many face when returning home. We hope that our project will better educate the public, provide healing and understanding, and motivate other veterans to tell their own stories.
