Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
My service in the US Army prepared me in many way to become a business owner. First, I would say the number one attribute I took from the military was drive. Knowing that at the end of the day it was up to me. I would need to push myself harder than anyone else could. Second, how to operate, manage, and push a team of individuals to move to a common goal. Not just being a boss, but a leader. Putting in the blood, sweat and tears before the company became anything and not knowing if it would.
