I strongly agree that military service prepares an individual to own and operate a business by providing the service member with the ability to lead, and to adjust to a changing environment. Without remaining flexible in a business success is unobtainable. In addition, the leadership and commitment to excellence instilled in each service member allows one to persevere over competition and provide direction to both subordinates and peers in times of need.
