Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
My military service has prepared me for the rigors of business by instilling the values that come with being in the service; Leadership, Time Management, command presence, Program management, Discipline, Troop welfare, Mentorship and peer support for others, and pride in oneself and duties. The military, specifically the Marine corps, trained me to have a self confidence through adversity. As a Sargent, I was trained to always cascade information to my platoon/employees in real time.
