My service prepared me, not necessarily to be a better business owner. It showed me that discipline, perseverance and attention to detail could turn setbacks into successes. The thrill of victory taste best to someone who has had to swallow the agony of defeat. To push past defeat and stand on the winning side is something worth fighting hard to achieve. Military service made me a better person, which in turn enables the ability to see the better in all things.
