My military experience gave me the passion and motivation to want to help people. It also gave me hardship and empathy for those in need. I understand that everyone has different circumstances in life and helping people through a hard time can truly change someone's life for the better. One act of kindness can be the difference between a life or death situation for veterans struggling with depression or PTSD.
