Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I served four years as a Navy Corpsman attached to the US Marines, including a deployment to Iraq. That experience taught me what it means to show up for people when it matters most. After the military, I spent years at the VA working in inpatient mental health, caring for fellow veterans. I saw firsthand how hard it can be to find a provider who actually listens; one who treats you like a person, not a number.
